The legal framework governing the recognition and protection of the Friulian language is rather wide and includes international treaties and documents, laws and legal regulations issued by the State as well as a long series of specific laws and provisions adopted by the Autonomous Region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Here below we propose a selection of the main legal regulations currently in force.
